I really enjoyed this quirky Irish police procedural which doesn't take itself too seriously.It should do well at Christmas when it would be an ideal stocking filler for all our property developers and fast buck merchants.
There are some hilarious episodes in the book which had me laughing out loud. It is genuinely funny and well written to boot.

Yet another savage indictment on the clowns who got Ireland into this fine mess is that I learned more about the financial crisis from reading this murder satire than from the media's own reporting of events. It's a really funny read, tip-toeing the line between grotesque and outrageous exactly the way Ireland's bankers did during the Celtic tiger. Using an eraser to rub out a mistake will never be the same again!
Really funny well written book which I can highly recommend. A must-read for anyone who has been hit hard by the recession!
A funny enjoyable page turner. If you like seeing corrupt pollies, greedy developers and fat bankers get their comeuppance (violently), then this is the book for you!
