I like fast moving books and the writer managed pretty good character development very quickly (short story of about 60 pages) This is a soft apocalypse type of story as only a few towns are altered by the events.Product details

Amazing, graphic, horrific - a real "can't put it down" type of story. The author is definitely an accomplished word smith in that he makes you feel like you're in the middle of the story - you smell the jelly, you taste its sweetness, and you actually feel the need for more. Looking forward to another story from Nick Carter!!
Easy read. Can't get enough zombie and zombie like stories. I thought it was very clever! Glad I purchased it.
Jam Don't Shake is a fantastically clever, fun read about a town taken over by vicious jam fiends. It's sort of a 28 Days Later meets Dead Alive meets a nightmare version of Burger Time, but with jam. And funny. This book is a great little read, well worth the low cover price. Look for more great stuff from Nicholas J. Carter.
I really enjoyed this fast-moving story. Where I would lump it in genres, well...it's a silly, gently sarcastic, cleverly delivered tale in the post-catastrophic societal breakdown mode that we've come to know and love in our current media. It's funny--I mean, jelly? really?--and violent, but the dialogue and the humanity of the characters reveal an interesting and wickedly clever new talent that I hope we will continue to watch evolve.
I can see Doug, the main character, returning to us in a later story. Oh, yeah.
Mr. Carter, you sardonic little dickens what else do you have for us?
